Schwab CC501 error - maybe a solution?

Like many others I have been getting frustrated by the CC 501 error when trying to update Schwab with the new connection.
I just figured out that even though I removed the zzz - Charles Schwab from each account, some of my accounts also have a linked cash account. The cash accounts don't show an FI under Account Details, but if I look at Tools, Account list, the zzz entry is still there. And I cannot find any way to remove it.
Since I have some Schwab accounts that don't have a linked cash account, I tried to update with one of those, and then the connection worked!.
Does that help anyone else?
Maybe this is a path to a solution and Quicken needs to provide an update to remove the zzz entry from linked accounts.
