Connecting federal Thrift Savings Plan

I'm trying to connect the federal Thrift Savings Plan (401k) program into Quicken for Mac. After I select "Thrift Savings Plan" from the institutions and login with my userid/password/two-factor text code, I get this error message:
There was a problem during communication with our servers:
Can't set up 'Thrift Savings Plan'
OK (DISCOVERED_ACCOUNTS_READY_FOR_USER)
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello @mkall,
Thank you for reaching out to Quicken Community. We apologize you are having this issue. I attempted to recreate this issue on my end but was unable to. To obtain a better sense of this issue could you please try a test file?
To do this select File >New >Start from scratch. Once the test file has been created, add your Thrift Savings Plan account(s) only.
When you have a moment please attempt the test file with the steps above and let us know how it goes! Please be specific with the error codes/messages received (if applicable).

Thanks. I tried the same thing in a new test file, and got the same error.
Quicken displayed this message:
"Server Communication Error
Warning
There was a problem during communication with our servers:
Can't set up 'Thrift Savings Plan' "
At the bottom, it said:
OK (DISCOVERED_ACCOUNTS_READY_FOR_USER)
In the detailed error message I copied to the clipboard, it included these errors:
description:
add account error
suggestion:
Try again later.
system description:
institution login: can't set up (MFA response problem)0
