Payee Shows up on Every Download of Every Check

I have a checking payee that keeps showing up with every download of every check. I've deleted her name in payees and she shows up every time. I'm on a Mac. Can anyone help with this?

Select one of the affected transactions, the click menu View > Show Inspector. Note the Statement Payee displayed there. If this person's name is in that field, that's what's the bank's sending. You could create a renaming rule that changes it to something generic, but you'll still have to edit the transactions to reflect the correct payee.

If the Statement Payee is something else, click menu Window > Payees & Rules > Renaming Rules. See if the Statement Payee is listed as a condition. This could be the issue.
