How to combine data bases

I needed to close a checking account and open a new one. I would like to combine both data sets so I can create and print complete year to date reports. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Are you asking about 2 different Quicken data files, each ending in .qdf? Or 2 accounts in the same data file? In your current data file just add a new account. You should have an entry in the old checking account to transfer the balance to the new account. When you run a report you can include both accounts.
I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.
