Quicken Updates

Whenever Quicken one step update offers me an update I am not able to load it. My work around is to just go on the Quicken site and download the latest version and then install it. Any suggestions as to any other approach I might take or why pdates through one step update do not work?

    What error messages do you get?
    If it is something about "file in use" ... do you use TrendMicro Antivirus?
    In that case, temporarily disable AV for the duration of the update. And complain to TrendMicro Support.

    Aha yes I use Trend Micro Antivirus.
