Union Bank no longer down loading error 16414

last month Union Bank stopped down loading transaction I didn't change anything on my end. Error 16414? Bank name in quicken is MUFG Union Bank, N.A.. Error says institutional login Sync error.

The error only occurs with the credit card account the checking account down loads fine I am using direct connect. which has been working flawlessly for 3 years.0

Thank you for your response. I would recommend de/reactivating your account connection. Before you start the process please ensure that you have made a backup of your current file.
To do this first select the account in question, then Settings >Downloads >Disconnect >Done. Once the account is disconnected select Settings >Connect. When your account(s) has been found, make sure you click on "Link to Existing Account" instead of "Add".
When you have a moment please attempt the steps above and let us know how it goes!

I tried doing that I was able to see the checking account when I was reconnecting but not the credit card account. So i was not successful in reconnecting my credit card account. also I don't think i mentioned that I am on the MAC version. Do you think this could be a problem on on the bank side, Union bank was acquired by US Bank and they have been making changes0

I called Union Bank they said they don't see any issues on there end but I am going to call tomorrow during business hours to talk to a specialist1

Thank you for your response. To get a better understanding of the issue could you please try a test file? Before starting the process please make sure that you have a backup of your current file.
To do this select File >New >Start from scratch. Once the test file has been created add your MUFG Union Bank account(s) only. No other accounts are needed.
When you have a moment please attempt the test file and let us know how it goes! Please be specific if you encounter any errors.

I could not get into Quicken direct connect for Union Bank yesterday 12-19-21 or today. Today while I was attempting to connect I got a sms text from quicken saying I created a new account and could I verify my phone number. The number was a 415 number, which mine is not so I did not verify it. I also had not made any changes with quicken. A minute later Xfinity sent me a sms text giving me a verification code to get into my account at Xfinity. I had not initiated it, although the new bill just became available so maybe it is a glitch with them. [Edit-- Speculation]0

Hi Paloma
I set up a new test file and tried to add the credit card to the bank called "Union-web". I was able to see my checking account but no credit card account just like i saw with my active file.
Any ideas?

The sms sent by quicken with a non-correct phone number was not speculation. It was real, and at the same moment i was trying to connect via Quicken direct connect. The Xfinity sms that indicated someone was trying to login there was not speculation, it was real. I read that some other banks were having issues today. I posted in case someone at Quicken might want to know this. As of this time 12/20.2021 1:45pm I still cannot connect to Union Bank via direct connect / Quicken same as the OP.0

I tried using the bank name listed as Union Bank - quicken which is the "direct connect" link that requires a pin from the bank. I looked up my pin and gave it a try and ultimately i was not able to connect but received a different error code. This test was run in the new empty data file
