Using Quicken on two computers in the same office.

I am currently having trouble with my main computer and have been using my old computer for Quicken (which is very slow & 15 years old). My main computer seems to be working presently and I wanted to try using Quicken on main CPU.
1) Is there a way of doing that? If I do something on my main CPU, then use my old CPU will it acknowledge the new information from the main.
2) When I tried to do that, it wants me to make a separate file, as if it was a different business.

You only have 1 current file on one computer.  The .qdf file should be stored on the C drive in your Documents in a Quicken folder.   You would have to copy it back and forth each time to move it.   But that can mess you up if you don't keep track of it.   You might accidentally enter into the wrong copy.   There are ways to share or remote in, someone else will have to explain that.  But that is not recommended, it might corrupt your file.

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.
