Can I rename or delete a transfer category?

I am trying to reload my investment accounts and one has the same name as the transfer account which has zero entries.

You cannot delete "transfer categories" where the category name is equal to an account register name, surrounded by [square brackets], e.g., "[XYZ Investments]"

These names are tied directly to the account register names. Rename or delete an account register and the transfer category will change or disappear accordingly.

If you happen to have a hidden category with a conflicting name, unhide it and decide what to do with it.

If you have a "regular" income or expense category named "XYZ Investments" that should now become a transfer category, [XYZ Investments], rename or delete the regular category first.
