Reversing Extending a Budget

I realized this year that I must have extended my budget to cover 2022 accidently some time ago before I had completed creating it for 2021. My question is: how do I reverse that extension so I can carry forward my work, now complete, from 2021?

    Restoring from a backup is the only way.  And will point out that if you open a budget with your system date set to 2022 it will automatically extend the budget if it is from 2021.
