Online Payee List Across Multiple Files

Why can't you have online payee lists unique to each file? I set up a new file and the online payee list from my original file populated the new file. When I deleted some of these that were not relevant, it deleted them from the original file.

Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community. We apologize you are having this difficulty. To clarify the Online Payees are not able to be unique for each file, since they come from the financial institution's servers. The information is affected in mirrored in all the files present. Pardon the inconvenience.
