How to downgrade to earlier version of Quicken for Windows?

Given how clearly buggy Quicken for Windows R37.66 and .67 are - with constant crashing associated with almost any online update activity (and don't tell me to validate my data fie - as if that is causing all of these issues all of a sudden) - I'd like to find out how to remove these latest patches, so as to get back to an earlier version.

Is there a documented and supported method to go back to an earlier version?
