Discover credit card duplicating transactions

This has been going on for MONTHS. Spoke with Quicken months ago who said they were aware and it was going to be fixed in a day or so MONTHS ago

    Hello @jonijam,

    I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue with duplicate transactions. Thanks for contacting the Quicken Community regarding this problem.

    First, be sure to save backups frequently. You can do this by going to File > Save a Backup in the menu at the top of the screen while Quicken is open. You can remove the duplicate transactions by disconnecting each account associated with Discover via the Settings menu at the 'gear' icon in the lower left-hand corner of the application and then going to Downloads and clicking Disconnect Account. You would then right-click or control-click each of the duplicate transactions in the disconnected account and delete them. 

    When did you notice this beginning to occur? Was this in the fall of 2021? If possible, try to restore from a backup prior to when the duplicates first started to appear. You can do this by going to File > Restore from Backup in the menu at the top of the screen, mentioned earlier in this post.
