How can I change back to the original Home Screen?

I don't like the recent change in the traditional screen and want to go back to the prior version. How can I do that?

    Well, since you really didn't tell us what you are seeing - and what you consider the old "Home Screen" -
    we can only guess you are seeing the new Dashboard....  
    You can basically turn if off by clicking the Gear in the right corner and move the Dashboard slider to OFF .
    Also.. review & update the .... Edit --> Preferences --> Startup --> to the "tab" you want for your Home Screen
