Restoring backup from QWin 2013
William Copeland
I had Quicken 2013 but when I got a new computer, I would not reinstall it. If I buy the current version of Quicken, can I upload my old backup from 2013?

Why won't it install?

Because I don't have the disk. I was misplaced during a recent move.

I use Quicken 2013. When I got a new laptop Windows 10 without a CD drive I put Quicken 2013 on it. I got the download directly from Quicken. You can download 2013 Deluxe for free using this how to convert article. It’s under Converting from Quicken 2004-2009.

Then you can copy & move your data file using a flash drive. It ends in .qdf and should be in your Documents in a Quicken folder.
