Slowness/Pause When Entering and Reconciling Transactions

On Quicken for Mac 6.5.1. MacOS 12.1. When I enter transactions or reconcile transactions, I get about a 10 second pause with the Mac spinning ball. Has never occurred before. I loaded a backup file from about 30 days previous, and the problem does not exist on that file.

Any suggestions?

    Where is your Quicken file stored?

    I determined the cause of the issue. I had run a report a few days back that included all categories over about a 10 year period. The report was still open in another window. Upon closing the report, the delay issues resolved.
