Error on 2004 download in Win 2010, unable to locate C: Users\rgran\AppData\Local\Temp|pftBF8.tmp\

\DISK1\Quicken2004.msi So, I can't use 2018, b/c I can't load 2013, b/c I can't load 2004, b/c Win 2010 can't access some old Temp file from 2002 (it's only been 4 years now!)

What kind of problem are you trying to solve?
If you have already been on a version of Quicken 2016 or newer, there should be no need to go back to an older version. Matter of fact, the old versions, 2004, 2013, you mentioned are not capable of processing Quicken data files created or last used by 2016 or newer software versions.

Use the Quicken 2004 install from this article which is QW04DLX.exe not
Quicken2004.msi.
