I am sorry to hear that you are being troubled by these difficulties with connecting this account. Thank you for contacting the Quicken Community once more to discuss the problem.
One question I would have for you immediately is in regards to your Connection Type. Are you also connecting to Vanguard via Web Connect? As a reminder, you can always check the Connection Type by selecting the account from the account list in the left-hand panel of the Quicken window and going to Accounts > Settings > Downloads in the upper menu at the top of the screen. Also, what instance is selected from the bank list in Quicken to connect the account?

I tried again this morning and Vanguard is working again with Quicken Connect. Apple FCU still only works with Web Connect, which is a pain.1
