Updated transactions - my Quicken data was trashed

After my weekly update of banks and credit cards today (1/29/2022) my quicken file was trashed. Checking balance down by tens of thousands of dollars off from what the bank reported, monthly spend reduced by a few thousand dollars from last week, etc.
I restored last weeks backup and repeated the process and the same thing happened.
I restored last months backup (12/31/2021), repeated the process, and only 2 transactions from January were downloaded.
I've been using quicken for 2 years and have never seen anything so bizarre.

Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community. We apologize you are having this issue. To better assist you more information is needed. For instance, what connection method are you using? Is this occurring in one account or multiple? Also, what financial institution are you using?
To check the connection method being used please select Tools >Account List >Edit account list >Online Services.
Please elaborate further so that we may provide guidance.
