Bring up the Account Settings window for the account. Near the bottom of the settings window there's an option for Investment Tracking Method; you'll probably find that it's set to Simple, change it to Detailed.

Go to Settings and under
Details
select
Investment Tracking Method?
and check
Detailed (positions and transactions).

This helped but:Do you want to disconnect this account to use Detailed Tracking? ETRADE - Advisor does not support downloading detailed investment information. If you want to use Detailed Tracking, you must disconnect this account and manually enter your investment transactions.

The I guess you have to make a choice:
Put up with Simple Tracking, or
Switch to Detailed Tracking & forgo online syncing, or
Move your investments to a different account that will support Detailed Tracking. I would assume that not all E-Trade accounts require Simple Tracking but I left E-Trade almost 20 years ago & don't know what things are like there now.
