Synching Quicken Mac with Quicken on an iPhone

I am told that I have to take manual steps to synch each time. Is this correct and if so, is there an easy way to do it?

    From Quicken Mac desktop Check the settings in Quicken Preferences => Mobile, Web & Alerts

    I have done all of that. Quicken support told me that I have to hit the little round arrow in the upper left-hand corner on the desktop and then pull down the screen on the mobile app to get things to sync. And it only works some of the time. Thank you for your answer
