Change Bank Name

My bank is being acquired, triggering a name change. How do I change to the new bank name?

You won't be able to change your online bank connection until the merger is complete and the IT department is ready to merge the two banks computer systems. That might not happen until some time after the merger is complete, possibly months. Your bank should let you know when the time comes.

As for how, what you'll probably end up doing is disconnecting the account from the old bank in Account Settings, and then repeating the steps to connect the account to the new bank. If your new bank is on the ball they should give you detailed instructions walking you through the process.

For instance, what is your current bank's name and what will it be changing to? If you download your transactions changing more than just the name may be required.
