Ending balance won't update when I reconcile?

I had cleared a deposit only to realize that it was incorrect. I corrected the balance, which is reflected in my ending balance. However, when I try to reconcile Quicken uses the old ending balance instead of the newer updated one, causing my account to be off. How do I get Quicken to recognize the newer ending balance instead of using the older balance which is no longer correct? I have backed up the newer balance and tried reconciling after, but Quicken continues to use the old ending balance.
