Reversing a corporate name change
Jerry2
I entered a corporate name change in Quicken Deluxe desktop Windows. It was a mistake and I want to delete that name change but I cannot find it am ong the "transactions". How do I reverse the corporate name change I made in error?

As mentioned above - a Name Change is just that... Edit the name and done...
Unless - you actually meant some other action that changes the number or pricing of shares - merger, spinoff, etc

Do CTRL-Y to bring up the Security List, click on the security in Question and click EDIT.

Among the transactions you should find a ‘Reminder’ transaction. That simply serves to remind you that on that date you changed the name. As noted, the real work is just done by editing the security name.
