Having trouble opening Quicken Deluxe 2016 on a new computer
wsj46
I have installed Quicken Deluxe 2016 using the original disc. It asked for login to Intuit, but that didn't work. I tried to use the patch, but got a message: "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP120.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." Looking for a solution.

If you get over the Visual C++ Redistributable Package hurdle, please remember to
install Q 2016 from your original CD.
When complete,
do NOT start Quicken
Instead, first install the update patch named Release 19.5 Mondo from
http://www.quicknperlwiz.com/quicken-2016-patches.html
You should now be able to start Q 2016 and get the correct prompt for your Quicken ID (instead of an obsolete Intuit ID)

Thank you for your help.
