What do I do if renaming rules doesn't work?

Quicken doesn't seem to be using the 'renaming rules'. It doesn't change anything.

I've searched 'help' and 'support' but can't find anything to solve the issues

Make sure that "Use my existing renaming rules" is enabled.

Thanks for the reply. But "Use my existing renaming rules" is already checked.

    But it doesn't work.
Tried validating the database. Opened and closed the file. And neither of those worked.

Then we'll have to delve into specifics. Show us the details of the renaming rule and the transaction which should be renamed.

And note that "Renaming Rules" only apply to freshly downloaded transactions.  They aren't applied to manual input transactions or "retroactive" transactions.
