Changing a username

Is it really true that the only way to not have my email address as my username is to request it in this forum? If so, can someone please change mine for me. Thanks!

    I am sorry for any confusion or distress. Unfortunately, yes; you must request a change from a moderator.

    Your featured username should now be different than before. Let us know if you would like a name different than the new one you possess currently.
