Quicken keeps syncing when turned off

I'm not really new to quicken, but I can't figure this one out. On Win 10 Home version, I have Quicken Deluxe, R39.23, Build 27.1.39.23, but the problem has been around for several versions. Under Preferences, Mobile & Web, I have Sync turned off, but every now and then I get the message Syncing Quicken and Cloud Data. How do I stop this? Thanks...Steve

    We can not stop it.  Regardless of whether we have ever enabled Sync or selected any accounts to be synchronized with the Quicken Cloud, Quicken does synchronize some of our data to a cloud account associated with the Quicken file.

    Thanks, Sherlock. I was hoping it was something like that. As long as my data isn't syncing, I'm happy enough and can put up with the occasional Sync messages.
