Edit quick/check pay companies

When i use the register to enter a check pay or quick pay there is a list of companies to choose from, my question is how do I edit/delete payees from this list as it contains duplicates and payees i no longer use?

Hello @William Vowles, 

Thank you for asking about the payee lists. I am happy to discuss this with you, today.

It sounds as though you want to remove payees from the Memorized Payee List. In order to do this, save a backup by going to File > Copy or Backup File... in the upper menu at the top of the screen. Next, go to Tools > Memorized Payee List, then click Delete next to any of the undesired payees you see in the window that appears after you left-click them in the list.
