Manage (database), create searchable PDF,export-import to quicken

Jumped the gun when i saw the epson rr-60w receipt scanner that said it can do ocr.So i bouth it and it did not do what i thought it could do. Well it only looks for certain items like business ,dates, totals, taxes, etc and creates a non searchable pdf.
i was wondering what people are using for 3rd party software that would achieve

i should add, that has a database backend (non cloud base) to manage/search the pdfs and can pickup basic info in the receipt like the the funky epson software that came with the scanner. its a rr-600w
