Cannot find an explanation to transfer a subscription from an old computer to a new computer

pretty simple -
on the NEW computer - just go to the Quicken.com website - log into your Quicken account - download the Quicken software.
Of course, you would need to copy your Quicken QDF data file (and all the backups) to the new computer.
The Quicken subscription is tied to your Quicken ID - so you can download and install on all your computers.

Thank you! Was under the impression that installing a copy onto a new computer would generate a separate subscription charge

Each subscription is tied to your Quicken email ID account -
you can download from Quicken.com to any of your computers,
and it also includes both the MAC and Win versions -
