How do I categorize mortgage escrow shortage payments?

My Mortgage payments for my residential and some of my rental properties have amounts included escrow shortages. They are not not tax deductible, hence, cannot be assigned to a tax line.

What do I do?

Just change the monthly mortgage payment's Scheduled Reminder transaction and add the shortage amount to the amount of escrow already being withheld.
