Find a range of dollar amounts

Question

I am trying to find transactions with a dollar amount between $2000 and $4000.   How can I do this as the Find dialog does not have that capability?

Where can I add a request for this feature?   It seems so basic to have this when searching for transactions.

You can still get the desired results, somewhat ...Using Edit / Find/Replace you can do:* Find "Amount" "greater or equal" "2000" (if you're looking for debit amounts: Find "Amount" "less or equal" "-2000")
* When the results appear, click Amount column to sort by amount.
* Now select only the desired transactions in the 2000 ... 4000 range.

You can also generate a Transaction Report, sort it by Amount and customize it (using the Advanced tab), to show only Amounts "greater than" "1999.99". The resulting filtered report will show both deposit amounts 2000 ... 99M as well as debit amounts -2000 ... -99M

I would use the All Transactions register, filtered for the relevant date range and sorted by transaction amount.  You can access the All Transactions register from the link at the top of the Account Bar.
