Opened Quicken and got notice there is an update I should install. I checked for updates and sure enough, there is an update. I installed it, restarted Windows, and went to open Quicken, and I got a crash report. How do I remove this update?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

I am sorry to hear about this issue with crashes occurring after a software update. Thank you for looking into this matter here on the Quicken Community.
Which release version of Quicken are you currently running? You can check this anytime by going to Help > About Quicken in the upper menu at the top of the screen.
Also, have you tried restoring a backup file to see if this issue persists?
You can restore a recent backup saved just prior to when you first noticed this issue by going into the upper menu and selecting File > Restore a Backup File... We recommend saving backups frequently by going into the same menu and selecting Copy or Backup File... so that recent backups are available for restoration.
I look forward to hearing more from you about this.
Thank you,

You can go back to an older release by installing the Mondo patch.
You can get the older ones from my website: http://www.quicknperlwiz.com/quicken-subscription-patches.htmlSignature:

I saw that I should uninstall the version, then download and install again without installing the bad update. However installing comes up with:
An error has occurred while installing Quicken
Quicken Failed to install - Exit Code 2203
Reason for this error:
Error 2203 Database: C:\WINDOWS\Installer\inprogressinstallinfo.ipi. Cannot open database file. System error -2147287037.
Anyone know how to get past this install issue?

According to https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-to-fix-internal-error-2203/9fed443b-aadd-4f92-a642-74162ee2c0fd
this may be an issue with the Windows User Account not having sufficient permissions.Try installing the downloaded Mondo Patch file as follows: Right-click the downloaded patch file. Click "Run as Administrator" to execute the installation program.
