Cancelled Ck Causing Incorrect Balance

In Apr 2022 I canceled a check scheduled thru Quicken. The bank did not pay the amount but the amount shows as a 'difference' in Reconcile. I have tried to delete the payment while holding down CNTL key and that does not correct the problem either. I tried to Repair File and that does not correct the problem.

    I believe you are seeing a shortcoming previously observed. As best I recall, the only effective recourse was to enter a counteracting deposit of the same amount.
