How to download transactions that are older than 90 days - Chase & Discover CC ?

I was able to sync download with my credit card and bank account but only the last 90-days of transactions. When I tried to download the earlier transactions to then upload, they saved as OFX files. Quicken could only read/recognize QFX files.

How to download older transactions (Q Windows only)

Depending on how much data the banks offer, you may be able to download older transactions from most banks. Here's more about how to do it:

I have two bank accounts with Chase and one CC with Discover that I have added (I'm just setting up my Quicken). In all three cases, I was able to simply click and transfer in the last ninety days. I wanted to get back to the first of the year... that has proven much more difficult. Both the bank account and the credit card allow me to download the older transactions and then presumably to add them in; however, I think the problem is the file extension (OFX vs QFX) because Quicken will not allow me to upload an OFX file. Thanks in advance for any advice!

I followed one of the links provided by UKR above and found out that the Quicken Starter Pack cannot import or export QFX files. It appears that I will need to upgrade if I want to do so. Thanks for the help!

The file exported needs to be a Web Connect/QFX file, and the import selection you want on Quicken is:
File -File Import -> Web Connect (.QFX) File...

It should be available in the Starter edition.  What isn't available is the .QXF import which is different.  It is an import from a Quicken Mac data file.
