Error: Please check Internet connection and try again

After updating to the latest version, every time I run quicken and it loads my data file, I get a screen telling me "Please check internet connection and try again" (see screenshot). Clicking Retry does nothing.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, didn't help.
Any suggestions?

Problem seemed to fix itself.

Well, it hasn't fixed itself on my PC. Is anyone else experiencing this?

This error can happen if your data file is located in the cloud (OneDrive, or Dropbox) or a flash or external drive. It is best to keep your data file on your C: drive. There is no issue with saving backups to the cloud or external drives.
