Password Manager: Can't copy and paste password

I use KeePass for my password manager. Today, for some reason, Quicken asked me for my password. I tried to "copy and paste" from KeePass which I do all of the time at other sites. For some reason, Quicken would not let me copy and paste. Is this normal? I try to create complicated passwords but having to type it out everytime kind of defeats the benefit of a password manager. Thanks.

    No.  It is not normal.  We use KeePass and do not have any difficulty pasting our password into Quicken.
