Closed account continues to try to download

A Visa account which I have closed continues to try to download, creating error messages. I cannot figure out how to stop these download attempts. I do not want to delete the account.

    Click menu Accounts > Hide & Show Accounts. Locate the account in the list and click its Close button. Alternatively, right click on the account in the sidebar and click "Mark "account name" as Closed in the contextual menu. You will be presented with a list of actions that will occur, which includes disabling downloads.

    I had already done this, and it was listed as "closed," but continued to try to download. On a lark, I re-opened it, then closed it again, and this seemed to fix it. Thank you for your reply!
