Type-Ahead is inconsistent in drop down lists

Normal type ahead: type the entry you're looking for and list filters or scrolls to that entry.
Quicken type ahead: enter the first letter and jumps to the first entry with that value; press same letter again and it jumps to 2nd entry starting with that letter
messed up type ahead: what quicken is doing in Transfer Reminder Account DDL

I am very much a keyboard person and don't want to have to scroll thru dozens of entries in any list. It would be great if type ahead worked consistently.
