"Update " reports progress

When I press the "Update" button for quotes it doesn't seem to respond. If I double-click I get a message that an update is running. There used to be a progress box come up while updating, this disappeared with the last release. Was that intentional?

    Please provide the version of Quicken being used: select Help > About Quicken
    I can confirm the progress window does open in R41.19.

    The progress box no longer appears in R42.8. I have no idea whether that was intentional.

    Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, as of 2025 using QWin Premier (US) on Win10 Pro & Win11 Pro on 2 PCs.
