No longer able to reconcile with paper statement (Q Mac)

I've been reconciling my account with "use paper statement" for years. In fact, my accounts have never been connected. But all of the sudden, I don't have the option, when I click reconcile it says (only) "reconcile to the online balance". And no transactions appear. How can I switch back to manual?

@Josie500 Could you clarify exactly what screen you are seeing when you first click Reconcile? Does it say "How would you like to reconcile your balance?" at the top, or "Reconcile your balance"?

If the latter, click the Back button on the upper right side, and that will send you to the "How would you like to reconcile your balance?" screen, where you should be able to click the button for "Use statement balance".
