So each time I received a statement, I would manually edit the fund in the Quicken price history....
I had created a virtual security & account in Quicken for manual tracking

There are a couple of options.
If you are downloading transactions for these funds, the broker should provide price updates as well.
Or you may be able to download prices from the fund provider.

To clarify: I have a 401K account from Prudential. Two funds - SA/T.Rowe Price Growth Stock Strategy and Mid Cap Growth/TimesSquare fund - do not have ticker symbols. When I update my Prudential quotes, those 2 do not update. Two other funds, which have ticker symbols, update without an issues. Thanks0

You might have to manually enter the price from the 401K statement. If you download the transactions of manually enter them it will get the price from them.
I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

tried looking up those names - can't really find them -
might be Advisor class or other special classes...

The SA in the fund name probably stands for Separate Account. It is a 401(k) only fund that invests in the same securities as the publicly traded and similarly named fund, but is offered only to the 401(k) customers, presumably with a lower fee.QWin Premier subscription1
