Quicken 2015 suddenly doesn't run - Java installed

I've been using Quicken 2015 for many years without issue. I use it to simply record transactions in and out of my accounts. For some reason yesterday the app refused to start, nothing happens at all.
The only thing I can think of that may have caused an issue is downloading and installing Java on my Windows 10 PC. I needed Java to resolve an issue accessing my Buffalo NAS in Windows File Explorer due to SMB v1 not being supported by Windows.
If Java is the problem uninstalling Java has not helped. Any help or advice is appreciated.
