Quicken not responding

I see the old conversations were closed, but this problem persists. I am on Quicken maybe 4-5 hours a day tracking investments/trades and if I change account, enter a new investment, nearly anything - it may suddenly stop and get the little blue circle. When it stops in 20-30 seconds things are fine, unless I was in the middle of entering something and then I have to start over. Sometimes it pauses mid entry and I end up with a wacky date so have to watch closely as I enter things. This happens at least 6-8 times during a session and really is annoying.

I am sorry to hear about this issue with the program hanging and freezing. Thank you for reaching out about this here on the Quicken Community.
First, how often do you close the program and/or shutdown the computer? Do you leave it open frequently, even when not using it? Also, have you tried restarting your computer when this happens?
