"Notes" disappearing depending on field input order

I added the extra Notes field in credit card registers. It exposes Transactions Notes (from Transaction Notes and Flags) in the last position before dollar amount.

If adding text to Notes is the last action before hitting enter, the text is retained. If, however, any other field is populated after text is entered in Notes, the Notes text is deleted upon hitting Enter. It then must be re-added as a separate action.

This behavior is troublesome. Does this post make its way into a bug report?

    I can reproduce this.

    Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, as of 2025 using QWin Premier (US) on Win10 Pro & Win11 Pro on 2 PCs.

    I have experienced the same thing.  After losing notes several times, I just know to enter notes last.

    It has been happening to me for a while. It looks that nobody in Intuit knows why.
