Update transactions hanging

For some reason the update transactions is hanging and not finishing. I have restarted quicken several times with the same results.

I am sorry to hear about this problem with freezes during updates. Thank you for drawing our attention to this issue here on the Quicken Community.

Have you tried uninstalling the program, using the steps listed in this Support Article, then removing Quicken from the Program Files (x86) folder? You may then reinstall the program using the instructions listed here. Note that this will not affect your data.
