Will categorizing transactions on the mobile app get pulled into the windows app on sync

Normally, I categorize my transactions using my PC, but I would like to be able to categorize on my phone app and have that sync to my PC when I sync. However, I just tested that, and the categorization of the transaction on my PC is not getting updated when I do a sync. Given that there is data on both the PC and the mobile app, are there any guidelines on where to change data, such as categorizing transactions, reconciling, etc. Does that all need to be done on the PC, or can some of them be done on both, and does the sync figures out what to update?
