How to create a new account but using old accounts categories etc

We are switching banks and want to create a new account file for the new bank. We have a lot of custom categories that we want to use with the new account. Is there a way to "clone" the old account and be able to continue using those categories?

I wouldn't create a new file. I don't know why you would want to-I don't whenever I open close/accounts.
If you use the same file, simply create a new Account within that file. All your categories, tags, etc. will be there. No need to reproduce reports, either.
Quicken will also allow you to Hide/Keep that older account separate within the same file if need be.
