Does Rental Property function work???

I've been trying to use the Rental Property function in Quicken and:
1) there is a total lack of documentation
2) the information in the rental section does not appear to be integrated with any part of the rest of the quicken modules

Is this a totally useless Function in Quicken?

If anyone has any information on how to use this function, it would be appreciated.

Just like the Business feature of Quicken, the Rental feature is "Rental Property Management 101", for very simple long-term property rentals. It's not suitable for B&B or other short-term rental management.

And, yes, you are correct. It is an add-on more-or-less stand-alone feature geared to Schedule E reporting. Classical functions like receiving a rent check are supported. Modern internet features like direct deposit to your checking account, credit card charges, etc. are not part of Quicken.
