Why does the new Chase connection for downloads not require a password?

    That's one of the benefits of EWC+. If I understand it right, Quicken gets a token that authorizes it to download your account info without knowing your password. When you set up the connection you logged into your Chase account using your password & that authorized Chase to give the token to Quicken.
